At Localshops, we believe that you shouldn’t have to pay exorbitant prices to get high quality furniture. We stock a wide range of home furniture that we manufacture ourselves as well as those that are directly imported from reputable manufacturers overseas.

Our goal is to provide every customer with top quality products and reliable after sales service with each and every purchase.

Store Policies


  •    All payments, except Lay-bys, must be made in full within 5 days after placing an order.
  •    Please use the auction number or your Trade Me username as a reference when making a deposit,
    or let us know by email or phone so we can identify your deposit quickly.

Payment Options:

  •    Credit card payment on line
  •    Cash or Eftpos on pick up
  •    Bank deposit


A 10% non-refundable deposit of the total price is required. Customers must pay in full within 10 weeks from the date of the auction/sale closing. The 10% deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or cancel the order.


We use Credit Capable as our finance company for hire purchase.


You are welcome to arrange your own shipping or you can pick up your items from our warehouse in Upper Hutt. Alternatively we can help to arrange delivery on your behalf. We use Hutt Mover to deliver locally.


All products have a minimum of 1 year’s warranty against manufacturers’ defects, unless specified in the product description.
